Day 2 Veinna

Highlites of the day, breakfast buffet at our Hotel yummy! The staff all ladies dressing in costume, Angela the head lady with her charming good morning to all and her piled high untamed mane of hair,she is a wonder to watch so efficient.  Schönbrunn Palace, learning all about Empress Sisi and Emperor Franz Joseph it is some story. All the people we met who were so helpful.The ice cream delights we had on the way back to the hotel. The conversation with the lovley man at the front desk of our hotel.....

Vienna so far

We arrived 08:35 to a very hot Vienna 32 we slept only a hour on the trip but are doing very well, just waiting in the Bar/lounge in our very beautiful Hotel Kaiser in Elisabeth in the very center of Vienna....took the City Train from the airport a 16 min ride then walked from the train stop. Have had our treat Rod had a ice cream and fruit concoction I the apple strudel with a lovley custard cream yummy! And of course very strong coffee and we walked a bit gawking at everything.

Flight From Saskatoon

Christina drove us to the airport and had coffee with us before going through Security, was so worried about going through the scan with my ICD well no problem,not a beep out of that scanner  ....yes! Such curtious staff at baggage check and security. Flight was great, love being up amount the clouds . Watched a movie The Golden Lady highly recommended.  The whole plane applauded our landing in Toronto☺  I had a salad nice casear salad Rod a panni sandwich  ...we will have a meal on our plane. So it's Austrian Airlines for our trip to Vienna, we were greeted by the attendants in the bright red outfits and have a nice red pillow for sleep time.  Just sitting now waiting for would you believe one passage my my! Watching The Sound of Music would you believe I've  never seen it...well I have now and am thouroly injoying  it ...our meal arrived it was quite good had a glass of wine full one☺ they came around to refill but I declined ha! First time ever.

our great adventure for Europe 2015 , Vienna Austria, Gyor and Lake Baton Hungary, London England, and Aberdeen Scotland

we leave July 21 and come home August 17 lots to do and see inbetween. We are looking forward to every moment.This was taken in Scotland last year, we are looking forward to this year's trip with the usual glee! ☺😊Hope you will all keep up with us
